Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in China. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian cuisine, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Indian cuisine and can bring their creativity and expertise to our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Plan menus and create new and innovative Indian dishes to attract customers.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Manage and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Monitor and enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and introduce Indian-themed promotions and events.
- Stay up to date with current food trends and incorporate them into the menu.
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients.
- Strong creativity and ability to develop new dishes and recipes.
- Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare food quickly and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality food.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or other local languages is a plus.
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from 4000 RMB to 8000 RMB per month, depending on experience and qualifications. The company is also open to negotiation based on the candidate’s skills and expertise.
