Indian Restaurant Manager

Position: Indian Restaurant Manager

Salary: 5000 RMB to 8000 RMB (per month)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Indian Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our Indian restaurant in China. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including customer service, staff supervision, inventory management, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong leadership and organizational skills, who is passionate about Indian cuisine and can provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all operations and ensure the smooth running of the Indian restaurant.
  2. Manage and supervise a team of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and other kitchen staff.
  3. Train and develop staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food standards.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and managing supplies.
  5. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, as well as all local regulations.
  6. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
  8. Collaborate with the chef to create and update the restaurant menu, as well as daily specials.
  9. Monitor and control costs, including labor, food, and beverage costs, to achieve profitability.
  10. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, policies, and foster a positive work environment.
  11. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximize seating capacity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a reputable Indian restaurant or similar establishment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, culture, and restaurant operations.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of staff.
  4. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints.
  5. Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and achieve profitability.
  6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Good knowledge of restaurant software for inventory management and reservation systems.
  10. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  11. Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or other local languages is a plus.

Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from 5000 RMB to 8000 RMB per month, depending on experience and qualifications. The company is also open to negotiation based on the candidate’s skills and expertise.
