Indian Restaurant Training Manager

Position: Indian Restaurant Training Manager
Location: China
Salary: 4000 RMB to 6000 RMB (per month)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Indian Restaurant Training Manager to join our team in China. As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for our restaurant staff. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure that all staff members are properly trained to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food standards. We are looking for a passionate individual with strong communication and coaching skills, who is knowledgeable about Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and other kitchen staff.
  2. Conduct training sessions to educate staff on customer service, food preparation, and restaurant procedures.
  3. Train and coach staff on proper techniques for serving Indian cuisine and maintaining high-quality food standards.
  4. Provide ongoing training and support to staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
  5. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and additional training as needed.
  6. Develop and update training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
  7. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Indian cuisine to incorporate into training programs.
  9. Assist with training new hires and ensuring they are properly onboarded.
  10. Foster a positive training environment and encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  11. Monitor staff compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, as well as all local regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Training Manager in a reputable Indian restaurant or similar establishment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, culture, and restaurant operations.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and coach staff.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
  6. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Good knowledge of training techniques and methodologies.
  9. Fluent in English; knowledge of Mandarin or other local languages is a plus.

Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from 4000 RMB to 6000 RMB per month, depending on experience and qualifications. The company is also open to negotiation based on the candidate’s skills and expertise.
